There are so many social media channels out there to choose from that it can easily drive your everyday person insane.

With Facebook, tweeting and now Instagram and snapshot, if you don’t have a proper marketing strategy you will be lost in the deep realms of social media for good. Even with millions of people on Facebook and Twitter, most people still check their emails first before they even think about updating their status on Twitter or Facebook.

Email marketing is a proven tool that will continue to help you convert your leads to sales which is essential for any business whether you are a local Vancouver based personal injury lawyer or a full blown e-commerce site that sells fake Egyptian mummies. 

The best way to get started is by setting up an email capture form and at the very least, start collecting leads. Not everyone is going to buy your product right off the bat but what about the people who need some information about your product? This is why having an email capture form is essential and after that, you can send them newsletters to ‘warm’ them up before you finally close the sale.

That is the power of email marketing which can’t be ignored. It’s proven and it works. Moral of the story is, don’t just jump on to the next big thing, always try to incorporate tools for your business that have stood the test of time.
